There are many different reasons why someone might reach out for therapy, and I understand that taking that first step can feel daunting. It’s not always easy to ask for support—especially when we’re struggling.

At different points in life, many of us experience anxiety, low mood, or emotional pain that can feel difficult to manage alone. Psychotherapy offers a space to explore these experiences and begin to move forward in a way that feels meaningful and supportive.

Whether we meet online or in person, I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgmental space where we can work together to understand what has brought you to therapy. Drawing on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), we will find a way of working that fits your unique needs and pace.

Those who come to see me are often seeking clarity, relief, and a way to reconnect with a greater sense of balance, enjoyment, and purpose in life. Whatever you're bringing, you're welcome here.

About Me

Saeed Khalilirad

Experience

I am a fully accredited member of the UKCP and BABCP, and a registered member of the BACP. I’m trained and experienced in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT).

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adults of all ages in both short-term and longer-term NHS mental health services, as well as in private practice. I’ve also worked within university counselling services, supporting both students and staff.

I currently divide my time between an NHS mental health service and my private practice, where I offer sessions in Central, West, and East London, as well as online.

Wherever you are in your journey, I aim to offer a compassionate, thoughtful, and collaborative space where we can explore what’s been difficult and work towards what might feel more possible.

Psychotherapy

There are different reasons that psychotherapy could help you. You could be experiencing low mood, depression, different types of anxiety, relationship difficulties or break-up, sexual abuse, emotional distress or bereavement. You may be experiencing work-related stress, panic, low self-esteem, social anxiety, health anxiety, obsessive thoughts, behaviour and feelings, OCD, experienced trauma, different types of phobias and other emotional difficulties that are challenging to live with.
